The wise owl is perched on his nest. He contemplates the view which he might interpret as a place where hunting will be good, a place where opportunity can be invented if he cares to fly off into those mysterious surroundings.

Its No 24. The music was also played on the cello by Pablo Casals as an evocation of peace at a United Nations meeting with reference to his home land of Catalonia it being a Catalan folk melody.
